Sunrise & Hot Ponds
We left Hawi @ 2:30am in order to meet Dawn in time for our tour. We are NOT morning people and we all agreed it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!! The spots we visited were incredible and Dawn was fantastic and so easy to be around. We made truly magical memories that we will treasure forever. If you get the chance, book with Dawn. You will be glad you did! - Monica

Wow! What a magical morning. The hot springs were everything and more, after a beautiful sunrise. Dawn was incredible. She has a genuine love for and knowledge of this island and her passion is contagious. Truly an off the grid experience that has made our whole trip that much better. Such a unique experience! Dawn is so friendly and knows a lot about the area! she told us stories and educated us about the different plants around the area . Dawn’s hot spring experience was incredible! She moved at our pace, was patient and kind and knew so much about the island! We had an absolute blast and she was an incredible guide! Highly recommend! We wouldn’t have been able to find these hot springs without her! - Brandon
This was one of the more incredible experiences I’ve done on Airbnb. Dawn was so thoughtful enough to suggest that we meet earlier to ensure that we made it to the sunrise on time. Watching the sunrise was incredibly special and so beautiful, and Dawn even took the time to explain about the plant life surrounding the area. She was thoughtful and personal. The Hot Springs were so fantastically unique, had I seen them from the side of the road, I would’ve just thought that they were pools of random water. Each pond had a different story, making the morning magical. She even took an extra moment to stop at a local cemetery that I found along the way before leading me back out into the city. I would recommend this to every single one of my friends. Thank you so much for making my trip amazing! - Kate

Hawaiian Sea Turtle & Reef Snorkel Tour
We had a private tour with Dawn- we were one 8 year old and her grandparents. Dawn tailored our experience with a calmer area for snorkeling while still making sure we saw lots of turtles, beautiful fish, and more! Dawn was amazing with the tentative child -mahalo! - Jill
My husband, two teenagers and I all had a great time on a snorkeling adventure with Dawn - she's is so friendly and knowledgeable! She makes sure you're comfortable in the water and then you go out and explore - we saw tons of fish and it was helpful to have a guide to know where to spot them. A wonderful family activity in Hilo! - Megan
This was AMAZING! We saw several sea turtles and coral and fish we have only seen in an aquarium! Weather was perfect! Dawn was amazing, friendly, well prepared, helpful, and truly seemed to care about our safety and the safety of the coral reef! - Angela
My daughter and I met with Dawn for our first time ever snorkeling. I had some physical limitations which Dawn and I discussed ahead of time and Dawn tailored our time so that I could participate. She was personable, kind and knowledgeable and we had a fantastic time! If we’re ever on the Big Island again we WILL be contacting Dawn again. - Carrie
My wife, son, and I found this to be one of our best experiences during our ten day Big Island, Hawaii stay. Seeing sea turtles basking on the sand at Punalu Black Sand beach is one (amazing) thing; seeing them literally swimming next to you and sometimes nudging you with their flippers is next level. It is a blessing to see wild animals and be with them in what feels like a trusting environment for all. We also snorkeled in a separate location where we saw fish "like swimming in an aquarium," as Dawn put it - and that was spot on. Unreal. Clear water, colorful fish, spiny sea urchins, and also living coral which was a treat to see in person. Dawn and Misty were co-captains for the group and kept us safe and respectful of the ocean environment. My wife is not a swimmer but participated in the first of the two snorkeling locations which had the option of feet on the ground the entire time. Dawn and Misty were encouraging but far from overbearing and she was really happy with the experience. Also, clean wetsuits and snorkeling equipment is provided. I had high expectations for this experience based on prior reviews but the experience exceeded even those expectations. - Amy
Such a thoughtful and magical snorkeling tour! Not only did we see a lot, turtles, fish and coral, but Dawn and Misty went out of their way to make sure we knew what we were seeing and some cool special fun facts about each thing. Dawn also provided a wide range of wetsuit sizes, water shoes to borrow, and plenty of good quality gear like masks and life vests. Still buzzing from what a great time we had. - Alyssa
We had a great time snorkeling with Dawn! She was knowledgeable about the fish and the area and took her time with our family of 4. We saw several sea turtles as well as beautiful coral and fish. This was one of the highlights of our trip on the big island :) - Sara
